Is it just me, or was St. Patrick’s Day way cooler when we were younger? I mean, how great was it following a trail of clover confetti that led to chocolate coins wrapped in gold foil? And pinching your brother without getting in trouble? And drinking milk that had mysteriously turned green over night? (Although, who was officially weirded out the first time they saw green milk?!) …Ok, maybe it’s just me. This year I spent my St. Patrick’s working on a gorgeous wedding from the day before. Not really festive, I know, but I did put some Irish Cream in my coffee. That’s got to count for something. Right?
Anyway. This Monday I bring you a song that is quite interesting, to say the least. The first time I heard it, I thought it was a bit strange. Maybe odd. Even bizarre, if you will. I seriously said out loud, What IS this??? But then I listened to it again. And again. And it sort of grew on me… Like green milk on St. Patrick’s Day. It’s called Noah’s Ark, by CocoRosie.
Happy Monday :)
