Has the weather been weird all over lately? Or is it just me? Either way, it started to absolutely POUR down rain yesterday. For the entire afternoon and evening. In Park City. In the middle of July.
That doesn’t happen.
And it was cold, too. Cold enough that the fire was started, blankets were pulled out, and hot chocolate was made. Kind of made me excited for winter, and twinkling lights, and the smell of pine, and Christmas music… Sick, I know.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. After all, it IS still July. Right smack dab in the middle of summer. Which calls for some summer music! This song is exactly that in my book. A pretty, soft, and relaxing song. Perfect for a lazy afternoon laying in the shade of a big oak tree on a down blanket with a good thick book. Or taking a nap on freshly washed cotton sheets with the window open and a breeze lightly blowing the curtains. Both are acceptable. Whichever you prefer, I hope this song is summer for you, too.
