Old Bag Factory Wedding: Natalie + Brenden

“No, I’m not stressed anymore.” She spoke happily into her phone to a bridesmaid listening on the other end.

The morning had began with a few hiccups. And, as any bride would be, Natalie was feeling some unwanted pressure as the events of the day began to unfold. While her bridesmaids did their best to ease her anxiety, there was really only one person who could make it all go away. Only one person who could bring out the smile that brightens her whole face and lights up her eyes.

And Brenden did just that. From the moment their First Look began to the moment they left the reception hand in hand, Natalie’s worries evaporated into thin air, and she was nothing but smiles. They both were. That’s the kind of love Natalie and Brenden share. A blissful love. A radiant love. A love that says Let me help you carry your burdens and You’re not alone, you will never be alone.

Her smile beamed. “I’m not stressed at all.”

Natalie and Brenden, thank you SO much for allowing me to be a part of your day!! It was such an honor to document your love, but even moreso to be able to call you friends. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for you both! I know it will be nothing but great things : ) I wish you guys all the best!! Much love : )

I adored her birdcage veil and hairpiece!

Everyone got ready at the church.

After the final touches of make up, Natalie was ready to get into her gorgeous gown.

I love her maid of honor’s reaction to seeing Natalie in her dress!  -Which, btw, that’s my lovely college roommate, Sara : )

While Natalie was finishing up, Brenden and his groomsman were doing the same.

Brenden, you look quite sharp, if I do say so myself!

After they were both ready, we headed to the Old Bag Factory for their First Look.

LOVE.

You guys are a fabulous couple. Just putting that out there.

These ones crack me up.

We headed back inside to warm up.

Le sigh.

Yeah, go on wit your bad selves.

Then we headed back to the church for the ceremony.

Brenden’s face says it all.

When it was over, they didn’t walk down the aisle, they surprised everyone and danced to Down by Jay Sean!!

They left for the reception in a flurry of feathers : )

The decorations at the Old Bag Factory were fantastic.

After delicious food and toasting to their love, Natalie and Brenden danced together for the first time as husband and wife.

They way they look at each other? Yeah, lurrrve it.

Then it was time to get the party started!!!

Ok, I have to give these a little intro. This kid was breaking it DOWN. I mean, he had moves that would make Usher jealous!!

I’ll end on one of my favorites from the night.

Carissa, these are awesome! They look like such a fun couple. :) Can I be nosey and ask… what is the lighting you have set up at the reception? Is it just one strobe? Looks great! Hope you are doing well!

@Natalie xoxo

@Kelly You’re not being nosey! I have no secrets : ) For all the detail and dinner shots, I was just using ambient light. I was shooting at a high ISO and low aperture. But when the dancing started, they turned down the lights, and then I had my 430 EX speedlight on my camera, bouncing it off of the ceiling, and I had my 580 EX II on a light stand, powered by PocketWizards. Nothin’ too fancy : )
