Summer Lovin’ Contest

I love summer. I mean, what’s not to love? Lots of BBQ’s, warm summer nights, sand volleyball, sun-kissed skin, sweet tea, summer playlists, and sleeping in, of course. Sleeping in just puts me in a good mood.

So, in honor of sleeping in, (and summer in general), I’m pleased to announce the Summer Lovin’ Contest!

Here’s the low down…

What do you win? An hour photoshoot, one 8×10, two 5×7’s, and an online gallery to share with family and friends, as well as order additional prints.

How do you win? Easy-peasy. Simply leave a comment below telling me what kind of shoot you want to win, and one (or a few) of your favorite songs for this summer. (I could use a couple more good ones to add to my summer playlist ; ) On Monday the 1st of August, a winner will be chosen randomly from the comments.

Rules: 1. Anyone can enter, but please note that if the location is an hour or more outside of Park City, UT, travel rates are applied. 2. One entry per person, but not per party. (A.k.a if you are entering to win an engagement session, both you and your fiance are allowed to leave a comment.) 3. This photoshoot can be applied to any sort of session (engagements, bridals, family, portrait, senior, etc.), but not an event (wedding, birth story, etc.). 4. The winner must schedule the shoot before the end of 2011.

Definitely can’t pass this one up! Of course, I’d love to win in order to do our yearly family photo shoot – which you will probably be photographing from now until forever anyways, LOL :) And, as always, to get some sweet snapshots of our Willow-babe, since Joey and I are totally obsessed!

And, my favorite song for the summer right now is “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO. Definitely wants to make you dance!

I would LOVE to win a photoshoot! :) I would love to win because I am moving back from NY to the beautiful town of Park City to start my career as a Physician Assistant. I would love to capture my new beginning and life I am starting. I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years now, and we have not had any professional pictures taken together, and I know this would be just the way! And of course to include our 2 beautiful pups!

My favorite songs of the summer are: Country of course. These songs just put me the best mood and make me love summer. Although they may be overplayed, its the kind of song that makes me turn up the volume and sing out loud in the car! :)

What an awesome opportunity!! Lauren and I were just talking about how we would like to take pictures in our wedding dresses together to give to our parents. Favorite summer song…hmmm..well, you can never go wrong with Dave Matthews Band, regardless of the season. A favorite summer dance song is Pitbull – Give Me Everything =)

Hmm…. favorite summer songs? I’m way into cycling now, so anything with a good beat – although my favorite band will always been Train.

Such a great opportunity to have fun, enjoy the summer weather, and get some great shots as well :) I am a country fan so my favorite summer songs have to be Perfect Day by Lady Antebellum and She’s Country by Jason Aldean!

Hey :) I would like to win a photo shoot for my boyfriend and I. I really want some pictures of us that I take because they really suck. I think it would be cool if we were outside for it because we both like to hike. haha and my favorite sond this summer is rythem of love by the plain white ts. Heber Airport Engagements: Leah + Spencer

In high school, he made her a ring. Kind of like when a little boy gives the cute girl in his kindergarten class a ring pop. Only this was way better. The outside was carefully decorated, the letters of her name, L – E – A – H, delicately inscribed. And on the inside? There was one simple letter: S.

It represented Spencer. That way, whenever they were apart, she would always have a little piece of him with her. And that’s the way it stayed. The way they stayed. Through high school, and college, and this crazy thing called life, she’s kept that ring, and Spencer, close to her heart.

Now she has another ring. A ring that represents the life, the journey they are about to begin together. Next year they’ll be eloping in Hawaii, just the two of them. (So romantic, right?!) And after spending the evening with them at the Heber Airport, I’m pretty sure that journey they’re starting is going to be something amazing.

Leah and Spencer, I’m so excited for you guys!! I couldn’t imagine two people better fit for each other. I had such a great time with the two of you : ) I know your marriage will be awesome, simply because you guys are awesome. Much love!

Plastic Love

I’m excited to announce the newest edition to my family of photo gear! After a little consideration, I’ve decided to add in a bit of my love for film. I will now be offering shoots with my Holga! I absolutely adore the timelessness this camera creates, the raw exposure, the light leaks and imperfections. And I really hope you will too : ) Here are a few from my last roll of film.

(Of course I took pictures of my dogs. Duh.)

Mount Timpanogos Temple Wedding: Keri + Adam

Keri and Adam got married on a warm Saturday in July, and the day could not have been more gorgeous! We spent the morning at Mount Timpanogos Temple, and then headed off to a quaint and casual backyard reception in the evening. Such a perfect way to celebrate their love.
